7) Take care of your health & well-being. This means both your physical & mental health. You cannot afford to become ill or depressed. Take in enough daily water (body weight/2 = # ounces needed), eat well (protein, vitamins, minerals), invest in some supplements, exercise (1/2 hour walk daily can have an amazing impact on reducing stress), use your support system (family, friends, fellow graduate students), regularly see appropriate health professionals (doctor, dentist, counselor - if need be), take time off from work for recreation (rent videos, chat with friends, whatever floats your boat).
