I stopped icing and ibuprofen, and applied a heat pad a couple of times a day. This helped, but the pain still lingered.
Around late February, I followed Karl's advice and took the following supplements: L-lysine, L-glycine, and glucosamine sulfate. I also added a couple of my own, L-carnatine and vitamin E. Within a month I was back to nearly perfect. Now I have no pain at all, and consider it healed."
